A Letterkenny resident had a lucky escape when his sitting-room window was smashed in while he slept.
The man was asleep on his sofa when a stone was launched through his window in the early hours of Saturday morning. He fortunately escaped injury from the shattered glass.
The shocking incident at Westhill, a residential area off the Convent Road, “could have been a much more serious investigation”, said gardaí.
