Staff at Letterkenny University Hospital were egg-stra pleased with another mighty donation of Easter Eggs.

The sweet gift of 450 eggs was donated by three Letterkenny businessmen today after they hatched a plan to wish frontline workers a Happy Easter.

Business pals Denis Ferry from Ferry’s Garage and Leslie O’Donnell from O’Donnell Crash Repairs came up with the plan which was generously supported by Mairtin Kelly from Kelly’s Centra Mountain Top.

Denis remarked this is just a small way of saying thank you to frontline staff: “Last week Leslie mentioned to me that we should do something nice for the staff in the hospital and we rang Kelly’s centra and ordered 300 eggs for delivery this morning, within an hour Mairtin rang back to us to say he’d also donate another 150 eggs.”

Mairtin added: “It’s great to partner with neighbouring businesses in a time like this to do something nice for frontline staff.”
