Twenty new cases of Covid-19 have been diagnosed in Donegal, bringing the total in the county to 145.
Twenty five more people have died as a result of Covid-19 across the Republic of Ireland, it was announced this evening. Twenty three patients were located in the east of the country and two were in the west.
There have now been 287 deaths.
A further 480 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed, bringing the total to 7,054.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has said that 200 of all deaths have occurred in a hospital, 31 of those were in ICU settings. An underlying health condition was reported in 242 (84%) patients who died. The median age was 82. The age of patients who have died ranges from 32 to 105 years of age.
