A total of 31 more people died today from Covid-19 in Ireland.
The overall death toll here is now 365.
Three of the most recent deaths were in the north west.
The number of confirmed cases in Donegal has risen to 225.
A further 527 more cases of the coronavirus were diagnosed in the Republic while another 465 confirmed cases of Covid-19 were registered from the backlog of tests at the laboratory in Germany.
With the German figures included, there is now a total of 10,647 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.
Meanwhile, in Northern Ireland, there were six more coronavirus-related deaths today bringing the total in the region to 124.
There are now 1,882 confirmed cases in Northern Ireland, including 76 new ones since yesterday.
