People are once again being encouraged to come out of their homes this evening and show support for frontline workers by giving them a round of applause.

A similar call resulted in tens of thousands of people showing their solidarity with the workers in the battle against Covid-19.

People are being encouraged to come out to their front doors at 8pm and show their support.

The public is also being reminded to practise social distancing when showing support.
