Met Eireann has promised blistering sunshine across Donegal until Friday at least!
There may be an air of gloom about the country with Covid-19 but we all have the opportunity to get a bit of vitamin D.
Those of us lucky to have a garden can get outside with temperatures today up to 17C, and reaching a high of 19C by Thursday.
Met Eireann says the warmer weather will be with us all week with highs of 19C forecast for Thursday and Friday.
However, nights will be cooler with temperatures are expected to dip to between 2C and 5C tonight.
By tomorrow, Ulster will be basking in 18C and people are being encouraged to get out and walk within their 2km zone.
On Thursday, temperatures will reach a maximum of 19C.
We may not be able to visit our favourite places in Donegal just yet but here’s hoping the early spring sunshine is a taster of what is to come in the months ahead.
