A further nine people in Northern Ireland have passed away as a result of COVID-19.
Health Minister Robin Swann has expressed his sympathy to the families of those affected.
The total number of recorded deaths in the region is now 220.
The latest update from the Department of Health states that there are 612 confirmed or suspected Covid-19 patients being treated in hospitals across NI.
As of April 20th, figures show that 2,728 people have tested positive for the virus.
