Covid-19: Another 49 deaths, 631 new cases

ANOTHER 49 Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in the Republic of Ireland.

Health officials confirmed the tally, bringing the country’s death toll to 769.

There have been a further 631 new cases confirmed with 16,671 confirmed cases since the outbreak of the virus.

Ten deaths have been denitrified, the HSE has confirmed.

Of the 769 deaths in laboratory confirmed cases, 412 are associated with residents of residential care settings, of which 348 are associated with nursing homes.
