Latest: Three critical and 21 Covid-19 patients at Letterkenny Hospital

There are three people in critical care suffering from Covid-19 at Letterkenny University Hospital. 

The latest figures from the HSE, released at 8pm last night, also show there are 21 people being treated for the virus in the hospital at present.

The number of Covid-19 patients onsite was 19 on Saturday, and 20 on Friday last.

There are currently 6 critical care beds available at LUH and 114 vacant general care beds vacant.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Donegal has reached 446, as of midnight on Friday 24th April.

Recovery rates are at 55% nationwide, as of last Tuesday. The National Public Health Emergency Team analysed 15,186 cases to reveal that 8,377 (55%) made a full recovery from COVID-19 in the community, while 856 (6%) recovered and were discharged from hospital.
