ANOTHER 31 people have died after contracting Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland.
At a later-than-usual press briefing this evening at the Department of Health, it was confirmed that another 31 deaths were reported.
Ireland’s death toll now stands at 1,190.
There have been a further 376 confirmed cases of Covid-19. Since the outbreak of the virus in Ireland, 20,253 people have been infected.
There are now 369 clusters in community residential institutions – an increase of nine since yesterday.
