Forty three more people have died in the Republic as a result of Covid-19.
A total of 1,232 deaths have been notified to the Department of Health since the outbreak began.
Another 359 new cases of Covid-19 have also been confirmed, bringing the total to 20,612.
Two more cases have been confirmed in Co. Donegal, bringing the total in the county to 456.
There are now 4,590 known cases in residential settings (an increase of 227 since yesterday) and 3,679 cases have been identified in nursing homes (an increase of 222 on yesterday). Deaths in residential settings account for 735 (59%) of confirmed deaths, while there have been 630 deaths among nursing home residents.
