FOOTBALL clubs across the land have undertaken various ‘challenges’ during the Covid-19 lockdown.

One Donegal under-12 footballer has managed a superb kick-up challenge – managing over FIVE THOUSAND kick-ups.

On St Patrick’s Day, Bonagee United’s under-12s were given the Covid Kick-Up Challenge.

Players were to recorded themselves initially doing at least 20 kick-ups and increasing the amount by 10 every couple of days.

So far, six players from the squad have managed over 1,000, one has kept the ball juggling for more than 2,000.

But Harry Doherty managed an eye-watering 5,342 in an effort that lasted almost 50 minutes.

Check it out here …
