Donegal has seen another slight increase in Covid-19 cases, with two new cases confirmed by the Department of Health yesterday.
The number of confirmed cases in the county now stands at 461 (as of 1st May).
There are 20 patients with Covid-19 receiving treatment at Letterkenny University Hospital, according to the latest HSE data from 8pm last night. One patient is in critical care. There are a further 26 suspected cases of Covid-19 on site.
Covid-19 case numbers have risen by small increments in Donegal in the past week, with nine new cases diagnosed over the seven days up to 1st May.
The incidence rate in Donegal is now 289.6 per 100,000 population.
Nationally, the number of confirmed cases is 21,506, as 330 were confirmed on Sunday evening.
There have now been a total of 1,303 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland.
