Two motorists were arrested on suspicion of drug driving in the Milford area yesterday evening.
Gardaí carried out drugs tests on both suspects, with one person testing positive for cannabis and the other being under the influence of cocaine.
Both drivers were subsequently arrested.
Gardaí took to Facebook to issue another warning about drug-driving following the incidents.
“It only takes one poor decision on the road to destroy lives,” said a spokesperson.
Meanwhile, Roads Policing Units across Donegal are been diverted back to road traffic enforcement amid a worrying rise in drink and drug driving in the county.
Covid-19 checkpoints are continuing across the county, with high compliance reported from the vast majority of road users.
