One of Donegal’s best-known family resource centres is on the road to a new premises – at a former car sales showroom.

Cara House, which is located at Lower Main Street in Letterkenny, has been on the look-out for a new premises for some time.

Now they have applied to Donegal County Council to have the car showroom at Canal Road turned into a new facility.

The new childcare and community resource centre will mean that the building will have to have a complete internal change of structure.

Donegal County Council planners are expected to make a decision on the planning application in late June.
