Two sharp Detectives came to the rescue of a little hedgehog who found itself in a prickly situation this morning.
Detective Sergeant Galvin and Detective Garda Mc Gonigle were conducting an early morning patrol in Raphoe when they encountered a creature who was a little on ‘hedge’.
The hedgehog had become stuck in a milkshake carton and couldn’t find its way home, whether it wanted to stay at home or not.
Thankfully the two gardaí were on hand to help – at Sonic speed!

Sharing a video on Facebook, gardaí issued a reminder to everyone about the consequences of littering: “Please do not discard your rubbish on the streets. Use the public bins that are provided or take it home!”
