THERE have been a further five Covid-19 deaths in Northern Ireland.
Today’s five deaths bring the death toll in the region to 494.
Four of the five deaths reported today occurred within the last 24 hours with the other being recorded for the first time.
Another 18 positive Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.
There have now been 4,421 cases in Northern Ireland since the outbreak.
Across Northern Ireland, there are 18 people in intensive care settings being treated for Covid-19.
