A further seven people have sadly died from Covid-19 related illness in Northern Ireland, the Department of Health has confirmed.
This brings the total number of (mainly hospital) deaths in the region to 501.
Daily figures from the department show that 42 new cases of the virus have been diagnosed, bring the total number of cases since the outbreak began to 4,481.
