Donegal County Council has issued a warning for strong winds from 5pm today.
The status yellow moderate advisory warning has just been issued.
The warning will last until 5pm on Saturday.
A spokesperson asked people to be careful of falling trees and to secure items which are outdoor.
The warning statement read “Unseasonably windy weather is expected to affect the country during the period.
“Given the time of year, there is potential for wind-related impacts such as debris from trees and movement of unsecured outdoor items.”
