Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for Donegal tomorrow (Friday) ahead of incoming stormy conditions.
Strong winds are set to hit the west coast throughout the day, bringing mean wind speeds of 45 to 65 km/hr with gusts of 85 to 110 km/hr.
Widespread showers are also forecast for the morning and expected to become more scattered as the day progresses but some will be heavy and possibly thundery.
Coastal areas of the county and exposed hills and mountains will feel the worst of the stormy weather.
It will also feel a few degrees cooler than of late with highs of 12 or 13 degrees.
The weather warning is in place from 6am to 9pm on Friday.
