Milford Gardai hope for a ‘blistering’ pace for Make A Wish!

Gardaí Kieran Langan and Mark O’Sullivan hope to set a blistering pace without many blisters today.

The two Milford-based Gardai set off at 5am at Milford Garda Station to do 100,000 steps for Make A Wish Ireland.

The lads will do a 3.3km loop of Milford throughout today and repeat it many times.

Their challenge will amount to the equivalent of 2 marathons and they are raising funds to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

They hope to complete their challenge in 13 or 14 hours.

Give them a toot of your horn or say hello if you’re out walking in that area.
