Met Eireann has issued a weather advisory ahead of a period of ‘unseasonably windy’ weather.
Friday night and Saturday morning/afternoon will see blustery conditions affecting all parts of Ireland.
“Given the time of year, there is potential for some low level impacts from wind,” said the warning.
Winds will reach gale force at times in exposed coasts across Ulster, forecasters warn.
The advisory is in effect from 9pm Friday to 2pm Saturday.
Friday night will see strong winds with outbreaks of rain. The rain will turn heavy in places and it will be cool with lows of 5 to 7 Celsius.
Saturday morning will be windy and mostly cloudy with further outbreaks of rain.
