TWO young Donegal players are on the short list for a top Ulster award.

The Danske Bank Irish News Player of the Year competition is going ahead online.

The awards are to honour the players from the 2019/20 season, which was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Christoper Mulligan from St Catherine’s VS in Killybegs is one of the five nominees for the football award. Mulligan plays his club football with Killybegs.

Scoil Mhuire’s Cathal Wilson, who also lines out for Buncrana, is among the five hurling nominees.

You can vote for Christopher and Cathal here: http://www.irishnews.com/static/poty/voting-page.html
