Data validation sees further reduction in Donegal’s Covid-19 total

THERE has been a further reduction in the total number of Covid-19 cases in Donegal.

One case in Donegal has been denotified following a process of validation of data at the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC).

Since the outbreak, there have been 471 positive cases of the coronavirus in the county.

This comes after five cases from Donegal were denotified on Friday, bringing the number from 477 to 472.

There has been one further death from Covid-19 and another 25 new positive cases.

There have been a total of 1,679 deaths and 25,201 positive cases since the outbreak.

These figures were measured at midnight on Friday.
