ANOTHER four people have died from Covid-19 in Ireland.
Ireland’s death toll has risen to 1,683 following the latest four deaths.
Nine more positive cases of the coronavirus have been reported to the Department of Health.
The figure is the lowest daily total of new cases since March 11 – 89 days ago.
The daily briefings given by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan, have stopped and instead there will be twice-weekly briefings, held on Mondays and Thursdays.
