Appeal after passenger seriously injured in Donegal crash

A witness appeal is underway after a car passenger was seriously injured in a crash on Monday.

The passenger was one of three people in a car which crashed at Tievebane, Burnfoot at 6.10pm yesterday evening.

The car was travelling from Burnfoot to Tooban Upper when it collided with a tree. 

The driver and other passenger were not injured, according to Gardaí.

Gardaí have launched an investigation into the collision and are currently appealing for any witnesses or people with dashcam footage to come forward. If anyone has any information they are asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 0749320540
