Another major fundraising concert is planned this weekend to raise funds for a much-loved baby girl.
Some of Ireland’s top country stars including Daniel O’Donnell and Derek Ryan will perform a Saturday night show in support of the ‘Better Life for Livie’ campaign.
The online campaign aims to raise €2million to save the life of baby Olivia (Livie) Mulhern, who was born with a rare neuromuscular condition.
Livie’s parents, Donegal Town man Keith Mulhern and his fiance Karen Vickers, are calling for all possible support in their quest to raise funds for treatment in the US.
Support has come from around the world and this weekend will be no different.
‘Keepin’ It Country 4 Livie’ will be broadcast on the A Better Life for Livie Facebook page this Saturday 13th June at 7pm.
The show will feature stars such as Daniel O’Donnell, Derek Ryan, Crystal Swing, Jimmy & Claudia, Robert Mizzell, Cliona Hagan and many more.
All money raised will go towards funding a once-off gene therapy called Zolgensma, which is currently only available in USA. It costs approximately US$2,100,000.
