Gardaí in Letterkenny are urging motorists to adhere to speed limits as traffic increases on the roads.
The warning comes as a driver was detected travelling at 165kph in the Letterkenny area last night.
After being detected by a speed check, the driver will now face a future court appearance.
Gardaí took to Facebook today to highlight the incident and say: “Lock down restrictions may be starting to ease but the speed limits still apply!”
