Parts of Donegal are set to experience thundery downpours later today as more stormy weather strikes.
A status yellow weather warning was issued this morning for Donegal and 20 other counties.
The warning, valid from 12noon to 9pm tonight, warns of scattered thunderstorms developing through the afternoon and evening with heavy downpours and a risk of localised flooding.
Tonight will be mainly dry for much of the country with showers dying out.
