Hundreds of families across Donegal affected by defective housing blocks will hopefully move one step to closer to having their problems solved this week.

A meeting of the Mica Redress Scheme Committee will be held in the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny on Thursday.

Among the issues to be discussed will be the administrative guidelines for Donegal County Council.

Also on the agenda will be arrangements for administration of the scheme and the opening of the scheme for applications.

The meeting begins at 2pm and all members are invited to attend.
