If you thought today was warm then wait until tomorrow.
Temperatures reached 23C in some places but tomorrow the gauge is set to rise above 25C in some parts.
Many people across Donegal headed to the beach today and the chances are you can head back tomorrow or get the barbeque lit!
Although we may not get a high of 25C, Met Eireann says we could get well into the 20s.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: “After a cloudy, damp start rain will clear from western areas and it will brighten up with good spells of sunshine developing through the afternoon.
“Temperatures will reach between 19 and 23 degrees, warmest in Leinster, and winds will be light and variable in direction.”
The national forecaster said: “Tonight will be dry with mainly clear conditions, temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with light northerly winds.”
Tomorrow will be the hottest day of the week, but thunder may hit in parts in the evening.
A Met Eireann forecaster added: “Tomorrow, Thursday, will be a warm sunny day with temperatures expected to exceed 25 degrees in Leinster.
“Temperatures through the rest of the country will exceed 20 degrees and the warm conditions may spark isolated thunderstorms by late afternoon or early evening.”
