A MAN who was ‘hassling’ customers outside a shopping centre in Letterkenny has been fined in court.
Lee Mitchell (39) of 43 Windmill View, Letterkenny, was before Letterkenny District Court on charges relating to an incident on February 23, 2020.
Gardaí received a report of two males loitering and hassling customers outside the Courtyard Shopping Centre.
Gardaí found Mitchell highly intoxicated and unsteady. The defendant was slurring his words, Sergeant Jim Collins said.
Mitchell was arrested and conveyed to Letterkenny Garda Station.
Judge Paul Kelly fined Mitchell €100 and gave the defendant four months to pay.
