Buncrana Credit Union are very pleased to announce that, in support of the Inishowen business community, they now have a new Business Restart Loan, with €1 million available to lend.

Speaking about their exciting new loan product, CEO of Buncrana Credit Union Maeve Douglas said: “We recognise the challenges faced by so many of our friends in business at this time and we hope that this loan product may provide the support they need over the coming months.”

Business lending is a new area for Buncrana Credit Union and something they felt they needed to introduce in response to the economic impact of Covid 19 on the Inishowen community.

Ms Douglas went on to say “It is sometimes easy to forget that our members are not customers but are actually co-owners of the credit union. With that in mind we feel our new business restart loan will help our members in business, but also our members working in the local community. Supporting local has never been more important.”

Buncrana Credit Union ask that if you are an owner of a business in Inishowen that has remained open throughout the pandemic or is planning to reopen, contact them today and see how they can help.

Those looking to avail of this great opportunity don’t have to be a current member of Buncrana Credit Union.

To find out more details email loans@buncranacu.ie or call Buncrana Credit Union on 0749361017 to speak to a member of their experienced loans team.
