Met Eireann has issued another weather warning for Donegal today as strong winds continue to affect the west coast.
A Status Yellow warning has been issued from 11am until 6pm today.
Forecasters are warning that winds may cause some disruption: “Later this morning and through the afternoon, westerly winds will reach mean wind speeds of 50 to 60km/h, with gusts of 80 to 100km/h associated with any thundery downpours. Some disruption may occur.”
Today is set to be “unseasonably windy” with a mix of sunny spells and frequent blustery showers with a chance of some thundery downpours. It will also feel quite cool, in fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds, reaching gale force along northwestern and northern coasts. Highest temperatures 14 to 16 degrees.
