Covid-19: Two deaths, 16 new cases in Northern Ireland

THERE have been two further Covid-19 related deaths recorded in Northern Ireland.

Figures release today show two additional deaths to bring the total death toll to 556.

There were 16 new cases confirmed in Northern Ireland over the weekend.

Since the outbreak, there have been 5,788 positive cases detected.

In the hospitals across Northern Ireland there are 11 inpatients with confirmed cases of Covid-19 while one patient is in an intensive care unit.
