A Buncrana woman had a lucky escape last weekend after a rock was launched through the window of her home.

This is the second time that the home at Saint Egney’s Terrace has been targetted in this type of attack.

The woman was sitting in her front living room in the early hours of 12th July (between 1.50am and 2.10am) when the window was smashed with a rock.

The woman escaped injury, however gardaí have noted that this house has been damaged previously.

An investigation is underway and gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area or can provide any information to contact Buncrana Garda Station on +353 74 9320540.
