Love was in the air at Termon GAA bingo night on Friday night.
The socially distancing night proved hugely popular with locals.
But the local Craoibhin Coumminty centre was also the venue for a very special first date for one young North of Ireland couple.
It’s understood that both had travelled to Dunfanaghy for the weekend and as most places of entertainment were closed due to lockdown, Termon Bingo was the chosen venue to spend the evening.
While seasoned bingo goers were marking sheets and waiting on that special number, little did they know that among them were a couple starting out a romance.
According to Termon GAA chairman Brian Trearty, who also doubles as bingo caller, the night was a great success.
With tongue firmly in cheek, Brian said free books may be given out next week to all who come on first dates.
