A man has pleaded guilty to making threats to kill a couple after breaking into their home.
Darius McAteer, aged 20 and from Stranorlar, appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court where he faced a total of five charges.
All charges occurred on December 19th last at the home at Admiran Park in Stranorlar.
No details of the actual burglary and threats were given in court.
McAteer pleaded guilty to burglary, making threats to kill the couple and also assaulting the couple.
The accused man’s barrister requested a probation and welfare report and also a psychiatric report.
Judge John Aylmer agreed and adjourned the case until the October sessions and remanded McAteer on bail.
