Man admits burglary, assault and criminal damage at Letterkenny flat

A man has pleaded guilty to burglary as well as assault and causing criminal damage at an address in Letterkenny.

Colin Kelly, of Orchard Park, Donegal Town, appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court.

He pleaded guilty to all charges.

Kelly is charged with burglary at Railway Court on Pearse Roa din Letterkenny on November 2nd, 2018.

He is also charged with assaulting Anthony McGinley at the same address on the same date and damaging a door, a television and light switch of the same dwelling.

His barrister, Mr Peter Nolan, asked for a probation and welfare report in the case and Judge John Aylmer adjourned the matter for sentence until the October sessions.

Kelly was released on bail.
