Covid-19: No further deaths, nine new cases in Northern Ireland

NORTHERN Ireland’s death toll from Covid-19 remains at 556 for the ninth consecutive day.

No further deaths were reported by the Department of Healt today.

There were nine new infections detected, health officials confirmed.

Since the outbreak, there have been 5,868 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.

Seven patients are in Northern Ireland hospitals being treated for Covid-19 with two of those in intensive care units.
