85 new Covid-19 cases and one further death, health officials say

THERE has been one additional Covid-19 related death in the Republic of Ireland, the Department of Health has confirmed.

Ireland’s death toll from the coronavirus is now 1,763.

Health officials have been notified of a further 85 new cases.

There have now been 26,027 infections since the outbreak.
