A new children’s playground will have its grand opening in Carrick next weekend.

The Riverside Play Park will be officially unveiled on Saturday 8 August at 4pm.

The new amenity, constructed by Hawthorn Heights Ltd, is packed with fun slides, swings and adventure areas, with plenty of space for running around.

Plus, it is set against an amazing backdrop with views of the nearby mountains.

The community will celebrate the new project at an event next Saturday with music and refreshments. All welcome.
