Our client, a long established business based in Inishowen, Co. Donegal, has the following vacancy:

Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Our client is seeking an experienced quantity surveyor/estimator who will prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analysing important metrics. You will provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions.

Responsibilities include management of the commercial and contractual requirements, responsibility for communication with clients and suppliers, procurement including conducting cost and risk analyses, reviewing all incoming correspondence from customers and designers, providing costing, margin & cashflow reports and agreeing final accounts.

Requirements include proven work experience as a quantity surveyor or estimator (3+ years), a working knowledge of current contract law, a good track record in customer relationship development and IT literacy in the relevant software.
