Our client, a long established business based in Inishowen, Co. Donegal, has the following vacancy:
Factory Operations Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced factory operations manager who will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
Responsibilities include planning, organising, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations; increasing production, capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards; being responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping; monitoring plant safety; allocating resources effectively and fully utilising assets to produce optimal results.
Requirements include proven work experience as a Plant Manager; knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources); familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise; knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes; computer literacy; strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
