Our client, a long established business based in Inishowen, Co. Donegal, has the following vacancy:
Human Resources Officer
Our client is seeking a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and bring on talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and aim to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.
Responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, providing counseling on policies and procedures, active involvment in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process, developing training programs, supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues and the review of employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Requirements include proven experience as a HR officer, administrator or other HR position; knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.); an understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures; proficiency in MS Office programmes; excellent organizational and time-management abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong ethics and reliability.
