A witness appeal is underway after a cyclist was injured in a collision with a campervan in Donegal.

The accident occurred in Annagry on Monday 20th July at 2.10pm.

A woman was cycling in the direction of Crolly when she was overtaken by a campervan that knocked her off the bike.

The campervan failed to stop, but gardaí say it is possible that they may not have seen the cyclist fall and the accident occurred unbeknownst to the driver.

The woman suffered minor injuries.

Gardaí have today issued an appeal for information and any dashcam footage from the area in a bid to identify the campervan driver.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Milford Garda Station on 0749153060.
