Forty-five new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the Republic of Ireland today.
There have been no further deaths related to the virus, meaning the death toll remains at 1,763.
There has been no change to the number of cases in Donegal.
A total of 476 cases have been confirmed in Donegal since the outbreak began (an increase of two was reported yesterday) and there have been 26,253 cases of COVID-19 in total in Ireland.
Of the cases notified today:
- 35 are men and 10 are women
- 77% are under 45 years of age
- 31 are associated with outbreaks or are close contacts of a confirmed case
- 4 cases have been identified as community transmission
- 33 cases are located in Kildare, 7 in Dublin, and 5 are spread across four other counties
