THERE has been one additional case of Covid-19 detected in Donegal.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has been informed of a further 98 new cases today.
One of those cases are in Donegal.
Since the outbreak, there have been 482 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the county.
On Wednesday, there were five new cases in Donegal – the highest daily figure recorded since April.
These figures are accurate up to midnight on Thursday, August 6.
In total, there have been 26,470 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland while four additional deaths bring the country’s death toll to 1,772.
