Covid-19: No further deaths, eight new cases in Northern Ireland

THERE have been no further Covid-19 deaths recorded in Northern Ireland today.

The death toll in the region is 557.

Another eight new cases of the coronavirus have been reported to health officials.

Since the outbreak, the2re have been 6,224 positive cases, while there have been 179 cases in the last seven days.

At the moment, there are eight Covid-19 patients in Northern Ireland hospitals, three of whom are in intensive care.
