Gardaí in Donegal have confirmed that missing Omagh man Seamus McCarney (aged 34) has been located safe and well.
Mr McCarney was reported missing from Milford in Donegal last Friday.
Extensive searches and appeals carried out over the week have reached a positive outcome today.
Seamus was found safe in Dublin. Omagh Councillor Barry Mc Elduff shared the family’s relief after the ordeal: “The McCarney family are most grateful to their loyal neighbours and friends who helped and showed such solidarity.”
Gardaí have thanked the public and media for their assistance in this matter.
